Mas o pre\u00e7o do carro zero n\u00e3o vem caindo desde a eclos\u00e3o da crise econ\u00f4mica, no \u00faltimo trimestre de 2008, agravado pela concorr\u00eancia cada vez maio no mercado brasileiro: em maio, os cat\u00e1logos das montadoras e importadoras somavam cerca de mil op\u00e7\u00f5es para o consumidor, considerando todas as vers\u00f5es de carroceria, motoriza\u00e7\u00e3o e acabamento.<\/p>\nO pre\u00e7o caiu 4,2%, na m\u00e9dia, somente no m\u00eas de dezembro de 2008. Em 2009, seguiu uma sequ\u00eancia de quedas mensais que culminou com mais uma desvaloriza\u00e7\u00e3o anual de 1,2%. Em 2010, uma pequena recupera\u00e7\u00e3o, alta de 1,38%, um \u00edndice ainda bem abaixo da infla\u00e7\u00e3o.
